2023 Info

Thank you to all who have messaged and already shown interest in this year’s tournament. As most of you know, last year we faced extremely low lake levels with the drought. Currently Lake Buchanan is only 60% full. Not knowing what the spring/summer season weather will bring and after much thought, weighing our options, and discussing with FAN; we unfortunately have to announce that we will not hold a tournament this year. Our goal is to always put on the best tournament possible, and we don’t feel that’s possible this year with the drought conditions. We also have our youngest son graduating high school and headed to college this summer. We feel our focus needs to be on him at this time. The Cade Riley Memorial Fund will continue to be committed to supporting community programs and student groups, as well as providing scholarships this year. Rippin’ Lips for Red will be back bigger and better! We are excited for what the future will bring! Thank you for understanding and we WILL see you again!
